From the outside it looks like a really nice place. But inside it is an old old hotel. The rooms are tiny and the bathroom even smaller. All furnishings are old and either dented or scratched. Scarce amenities. The restaurant is a nightmare. Salads were filled with worn out greens. My short ribs were inedible. And the waitress replied that if I chose to have dessert if “had to be better than your main dish”. There is a Jimmy John’s across the street. Get sandwiches. And stay elsewhere.

Ridiculous pet fee and no warning............BEWARE

I never do this but I feel this was very unfair and handled poorly and people should be AWARE & BEWARE...just got charged $75.00 pet fee. Let me explain = Made reservation with Hilton agent explaining we had a pet with us and was never told about $75.00 additional pet fee. Upon check in was told paper with fine print was to check in, and still no mention of $75.00 additional pet fee. Upon email check out room price went from $150 to $225 fee. I called the reservation desk to discuss and was told I signed a paper upon check in and so sorry for my luck. The hotel manager was rude and quite frankly condescending. Along with the fact the hotel was very noisy and not very secure. Hilton, I have learned my lesson.......and will never stay at one of your hotels again.

I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member, and being such I enjoy staying at different Hilton family properties. I am also a railfan and had taken a SEPTA train to Churchman's Crossing station and walked to this hotel, about a mile. Nice healthy walk with sidewalks the whole way. Note that no trains serve that station on weekends, so I took Uber to one that does have Amtrak service in another part of Newark. The hotel is on grounds set back from the main road. Despite the fact that it also is within sight of a major highway interchange, things were quiet. The building was atypical in that it was only 3 stories; usually Hiltons are taller structures. But that was made up for by the high number of rooms on each floor. My room being in the back, it was another long healthy walk to get there but also there was a choice of different elevators to change the route. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Room was ample size, no complaints. Bathrooms had plenty of counter space to put down toiletries. No hot water issues. WiFi and TV worked fine. No issues with climate control. For dinner I ordered from an Olive Garden across the street and enjoyed it in my room. Overall I do recommend this property, as it was pleasurable stay for me.

I held my son and my Daughter in laws baby shower here and I cannot say enough great things on how accommodating the staff was, the room (junior ballroom) was stunning! Food was top notch (recommend the mushroom ravioli) Katie the event manager is superb and assisted in every way to make sure the day was the way I visioned! Everything about the day was exceptional!

Nice hotel, easy yo find just off I-95, several miles south of Wilmington, DE. Room was very comfortable. Very nice buffet breakfast at around $18, I think. Note that omelet station is across the hall.
